Overview of IBR products

The IBR product range supplies suitable components for every task, is open when connecting to third-party systems and can be expanded at any time. All components are fully matched to each other as one complete system.

IMS measuring probe series

The IMS measuring probes are a new generation of inductive measuring probes with integrated signal processing and digital interface. The new IMS measuring probes are based on the reliable clearance-free ball bearings and the robust inductive measuring principle. But the sensible and sensitive analogue measuring signals are no longer transferred out of the case of the measuring probe via cables and then measured externally by electronics, instead they are processed and digitised directly inside the IMS measuring probes. Therefore, they are robust against interferences, they are error compensated (linearity & temperature) and can output their identification data over the interface. A complete set of connection accessoires for simple connections as bus as well as radio modules are available.

TMS temperature sensor series

The temperature sensor series TMS-KTx has a very short reaction time and is designed for rapid measurement of workpiece temperature. The sensors are equipped with integrated signal processing and digital interface for measuring value output and measure with a K-Type thermocouple. The TMS-KTI(H) contain a galvanic separation for isolation of the measurement head. The TMS-KTL(H) are designed especially for battery operation with extrem low power consumption. Both versions contain a spring-loaded clamping shaft 8h6 for usage in measuring fixtures. The version (H) contains a handle for manual measurements. A complete set of connection accessoires for simple connections as bus as well as radio modules are available.

H1 wireless gauge handle

The wireless gauge handle H1-M allows the connection of various gauge heads for measurement of bores, outer and inner diameters, gears and depths. The integrated precision measuring probe IMS-5S has a resolution of 0.1μm and a precision of < +/-1μm. The wireless gauge handle H1-T serves for rapid measurement and wireless transmission of temperatures from workpieces. The integrated temperature sensor TMS-KTL has a measuring range of 0°C ... 250°C. The measuring data is continuously transferred for live display to the receiver and is stored in the software by pressing the button of the wireless gauge handle. The integrated radio module from the ISM series offers 500 addresses, high transmission range and a long battery life time (approx. 1-2 years).

ISM radio modules

The ISM radio module series allows wireless transmission of measured values from gauges, measuring probes and sensors to PCs, PLC units, tablets, smartphones, ... . The miniature radio modules are a technology step in interface technology and replace gauge connection cables as well as interface boxes. The radio modules are very compact and directly pluggable into the gauges, support a long transmission range and a long battery lifetime.

SD1 dial gauge

The SD1 - IB5 / SD1 - IB10 are high precision dial gauges with a free of clearance ball bearing and a linearized, inductive, absolute measuring system. The dial gauges are specially designed for industrial use in rough manufacturing environment. The SD1 in combination with connection adapter CC1 is a very compact display unit with ISi bus connection. The ISi bus allows the connection of 1 - 2 sensors plus foot and hand switch as well as the connection of tolerance outputs. The display is rotatable, a numeric display shows the measuring values with high resolution and an analogue display with coloured LEDs presents clearly the tolerance status of the component. The SD1 is freely configurable via a Windows software.

IMBus - a universal measuring bus

The IBR Measuring Bus [ IMBus ] is a technology step in the metrology and interface technology. Powerful connection modules for all sensors, gauges and control signals as well as maximum flexibility for connection to computer and PLC interfaces ( USB, RS232, Ethernet, Wireless LAN, EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP as well as Modbus/TCP ) characterize the IMBus series.

Industrial measuring computer - Meic (17" touch display)

The measuring computer Meic is a robust and universal industrial computer for manual and automatic collection of measured values with statistical analysis. Programmable measuring sequences and control functions allow the automatic operation of multi - gauging fixtures up to the transfer of correction values to CNC machines. By the usage of IMBus modules the measuring computer can be individually configured for each application with 1 ... 512 measuring inputs.

CD43 / CD70 computer displays

The computer displays CD43 and CD70 are small and powerful display units for measuring applications, which cannot be simply solved by using dial gauges or classic gauges. The robust aluminium case as well as a high protection class allow usage in rough manufacturing environments. The new sensor interface ISi bus allows connection of up to 16 measuring probes, sensors, hand- and foot switches. For fast and simple solving of measuring applications as well as for trend display of the production process, the CD43 and CD70 are delivered with the user-friendly software ComGage Level 1 (optionally ComGage Level 2).

Compact measuring computer - Mecc (8" touch display)

The compact measuring computer Mecc is a robust and universal industrial computer for manual and automatic collection of measured values with statistical analysis. Programmable measuring sequences and control functions allow the automatic operation of multi - gauging fixtures up to the transfer of correction values to CNC machines. By the usage of IMBus modules the measuring computer can be individually configured for each application with 1 ... 64 measuring inputs.

Digital gauge - B200

The digital gauge B200 is an electronic gauge for connecting 1... 8 inductive and incremental probes, pneumatic gauge heads, sensors with analogue current or voltage outputs and gauges with digital interface. The high flexibility concerning the connection of sensors and gauges is achieved due to the modular design and the usage of IMBus modules as well as by the highly sophisticated measuring programs. The 3-colored column display allows the fast display of the tolerance result.

Column gauge - C200

The column gauge C200 is an electronic gauge for connecting 1...8 inductive and incremental probes, pneumatic gauge heads, sensors with analogue current or voltage outputs and gauges with digital interfaces. The high flexibility concerning the connection of sensors and gauges is achieved due to the modular design and the usage of IMBus modules as well as by the highly sophisticated measuring programs. The 3-colored column display allows the fast display of the tolerance result.

Software - ComGage

ComGage is a software for metrology and statistical process control on manufacturing sites. The software is suitable for simple displaying of measured values up to complex measuring applications with control sequences, as well as for testing of components with several characteristics in small and large series. Additionally, the software provides information for statistical process control by means of the included statistical functions. The software is available in 3 different editions :

Software - BV-Modul

With the "BV-MODUL" software you can add functions for contactless measurement via industrial cameras to ComGage. Once programmed, the module delivers up to 50 individual measured values from camera images, bitmaps or current monitor areas that can be processed in the usual way with ComGage.

Software - IBREXDLL

The IBREXDLL software allows reading in measured data from all IBR interface and measuring instruments to MS-Excel. The data can be assigned freely to the cells of any Excel workbook. Afterwards the collected measured values can be statistically analysed by control charts, histograms, statistical data, ... .

Software - WebGage Light

The browser application "WebGage Light" allows the collection of measured data and the solving of measuring applications. WebGage Light is usable on each smartphone or tablet PC (iOS, Android, ...) as well on each stationary computer (Windows, Linux, ...) with web browser. WebGage Light allows the connection of an IMBus, as well as the connection of ISM radio modules.

Interface device - IBRit-md1-232

The IBRit-md1-232 is an interface system for connecting two Mitutoyo gauges with Digimatic output (calipers, indicators, micrometers, bore gauges, vertical gauges...) to a PC or a computer over COM-Port. You can connect the gauges directly with cables supplied by the manufacturer.

Interface device - IBRit-md1-usb

The IBRit-md1-usb is an interface system for connecting two Mitutoyo gauges with Digimatic output (calipers, indicators, micrometers, bore gauges, vertical gauges...) to a PC or a computer over USB. You can connect the gauges directly with cables supplied by the manufacturer.

Interface device - IBRit - md1is

The IBRit-md1is converts an Opto-RS232 output to a Mitutoyo Digimatic output. This allows the connection of gauges with Opto RS232 output (Sylvac, Tesa, ...) to statistical printers and interface-boxes with Mitutoyo Digimatic input.
